As an avid nature photographer I have taken the opportunity since 2011 to travel to various parts of the United States, visiting and photographing the nation’s national parks. During this journey I have discovered the wealth of biological, ecological, geological, and historical diversity of our national parks.
Learning of and experiencing first hand the diverse flora and fauna, ecosystems, geology, and native peoples that once inhabited (and in some cases still do inhabit) the multifarious terrain throughout the U.S national park lands has allowed me to focus on a wide array of our planet’s ecological provinces from the tropical to the temperate to the arid to the polar arctic – ecological provinces that embody the true lifeblood of our planet.
I hope to present to visitors of this website a sampling of our planet’s ecospheres found in the U.S. national parks and forests through the photos I have captured during my adventures. I also hope this will encourage others to experience their national parks and understand the importance of conserving and preserving well into the future this land and its unique ecosystems that harbor such diverse wildlife.
Thank You!
